GRETA du Velay is a regional group of 21 public educational establishments (Ministry of national education). It belongs to the network of 288 GRETA in France. As a training organisation,  with 30 specialised trainers and more than 200 consultants, it provides internal or external training, graduating or qualifying in various areas. The GRETA du Velay is training adults since 1975 in a disadvantaged rural area (the South of Auvergne). GRETA has developed an experience in working with migrants towards a better participation in the French society, both at social and professional levels. GRETA has developed specific methods and training products taking into account intercultural views in partnership with local non profit groups. It is a certified centre to deliver the DILF (Initial diploma of French language). Since 1992, The GRETA du Velay has developed a work expertise in multicultural and multilingual environments. It has participated to the Leonardo AITO, to facilitate the integration of immigrants (including the production of free learning material - http://citim.velay.greta.fr - about the French working context). It is the French promoter and the disseminator of the European charter for social and digital inclusion. It is managing a resource centre for integration (http://diese.net).
